Osemeke Kingsley who has been on the police wanted list in Delta State for the past two years has finally been arrested.
According to reports, the suspect specializes in using several phone numbers to send threat messages and making phone calls to victims urging them to pay varying amounts of money into a bank account without which they will be kidnapped.
The Delta police command spokesman, Charles Muka told newsmen that he was arrested in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of the State.
Muka said the suspect had called one Orumgbe Veronica threatening to kidnap her unless she paid a sum of N50m in an account domiciled in a new generation bank.
Orumgbe reported the threat to the police and the law enforcement agency immediately started monitoring activities on the said bank account.
The policespokesman reportedly identified the numbers as follows; 08068113653, 08168837108, 08138762748 and 08121104769.
Based on intelligence gathering and collaboration with the bank officials, Osemeke Kingsley, the owner of the account and the leader of the gang was arrested.Follow us on Twitter @YNaija
