Friday is a sight for sore eyes when a person has had a terrible week at work. The Huffington Post blogger Helene Cohen Bludman has listed 10 different ways in which a person can get annoyed by a colleague.

Taking someone else’s credit:

When a person takes credit for someone else’s idea even thought that someone might not have mentioned it ever, nor emailed it to anyone, but was definitely thinking about it.

Criticizing your colleague:

Writing a nasty email to a colleague criticizing his or her work, and being sure to show it to the boss, the colleague’s boss, the CFO and anyone else who comes to mind.

Not taking responsibility:

By looking in another direction when someone else gets blamed about something for which you were responsible.

Not being able to deal with infraction:

Complaining to the boss about a co-worker’s infraction but never telling the person directly.

Talking incessantly:

Standing in someone else’s doorway and talking incessantly even though that person is really busy and is trying to ignore you.

Not receiving voicemails:

Claiming that you didn’t get someone’s voicemail message even though you didn’t leave your office all day.

Disturbing others while you’re on phone:

When on the phone, speak as loudly as possible, and don’t shut the door of your office room.

Alluding to conversations that never happened:

Allude to conversations that never happened if it makes you look good or saves your from some kind of trouble.

Not letting someone else talk:

Consistently interrupt someone to interject your reply before the person has even finished speaking.
