An 11-year-old girl, Ashanti Elliot-Smith, suffers from a condition which makes her body to age eight times faster than normal.

Her condition, which is both rare and terminal, is called ‘Alopecia’.

Some of the symptoms of Alopecia includes stunted growth, hair loss, weight loss, wrinkled skin, stiff joints, and heart disease.

Ashanti, who is a pupil at Oakmeeds Community College, is not expected to live past the age of 15 years.
