How 2 Biafra agitators died in Onitsha

Again, two members of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign state of Biafra, MASSOB were believed to have been killed by 2 policemen from the Okpoko Police Division in Onitsha, Anambra state while some sustained injuries while a shop was on fire on Sinday, May 15, according to a report by Vanguard.

A woman had reportedly presented a case of assault against one of the deceased but the MASSOB member had resisted when the police came to arrest him.

In resisting arrest, the member allegedly called other members on his phone leading to he arrival of 20 other persons at the scene in Udeaja/Ibe Street where they allegedly started attacking the policemen.

The policemen, in self defense, gripped the suspect and used him as a shield while they were being attacked by the irate mob before a team of other policemen arrived as the other members absconded.

The suspect had compalined of pains at the police station and shrotly died in the custody of the police officers.

Another MASSOB member died when a rival group allegedly beat him to death following the accusation of a woman who claimed she assaulted her. The rival gang had descended on the man and beat him into a coma before he died minutes later.
