Three days of part theatrical experience, part real life and part city journey. The festival will transform historic Freedom Park, a public space born out of the ruins of a colonial prison and reconstructed to preserve the history and cultural heritage of Nigeria.

Theatre in non theatrical/ unconventional spaces 28 February – 2 March 2014.

“Diagnosis” by Imagine Nigeria ( 2.15 p.m. & 5.15 p.m. daily)

“Queen of the Night” by Renegade Theatre (3.15pm & 6.15pm daily)

Fringe Festival

New to LTF 2014, we are launching a fringe show (a series of open-mic performances) to the festival, in order to showcase daring, raw and authentic live performance work. We encourage interested artists to give expression to and develop their talents in total artistic freedom without any curatorial barriers in bringing their work to our audience.

How to Participate in the Fringe Show

Send a proposal of not more than 200 words indicating the title and nature of your performance as well as its duration to [email protected] and [email protected]. You must copy both emails to apply.

Dates:

Application opens from 29th of January to 12th of February 2014

Shortlisted proposals will be contacted on the 15th of February 2014

Rules:

· Entry is online

· One proposal per person (or group)

· We are seeking performances of between 10 – 15 minutes

· All proposals should include Name, Age, Sex, phone number and email address

Note: The Fringe Show will be a free to attend event at the festival, hence artists or performers will not receive any financial payment whatsoever but will receive due credit for their work as well as notable publicity.
