20 soldiers arraigned for human rights abuse, murder

Twenty personnel of the Nigerian Army have been arraigned before a court martial over charges of gun-running, human rights abuses and murder.

According to The Daily Trust, the affected personnel include four officers and sixteen soldiers.

The commander in charge of 7 Division of the Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Victor Ezudwu, while inaugurating the court martial at the military media center in Maiduguri warned the president of the court and its members against unnecessary adjournments, while seeing to it that justice is done.
