Rumours across the blogosphere this morning, especially from popular Twitter handles, have announced that Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has threatened to resign if President Goodluck Jonathan goes back on his policy decision to end the fuel subsidy.
YNaija can authoritatively confirm that this is false. Impeccable sources close to the Minister confirm that this information is false: “Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala knows better than anyone that no one is indispensable to country and her commitment remains to Nigerians and Nigeria.”
YNaija will continue to monitor developments.
