The All Progressives Congress (APC) are said to have scheduled an emergency meeting with its elders and members of the National Working Committee on Tuesday in Abuja.
This meeting is coming the same day President Goodluck Jonathan plans to declare his intention to contest the presidential elections next February.
Sources say the meeting may discuss a possible adjournment of the date for the party’s National Convention scheduled for December 8, 2014.
Key players in the opposition party are expected to attend the strategic meeting.
