Senate Minority Leader and former Governor of Akwa Ibom state, Godswill Akpabio is already thinking of the 2019 general election.
Barely a week after a faction of the All Progressives Congress declared that President Muhammadu Buhari must gear up for the general elections in 2019, Godswill Akpabio, a stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party has also joined the bandwagon of early birds.
Speaking about the 2019 election, Akpabio took to his Twitter page to beg Nigerians to favor the PDP while pointing out that the new structure and impending change of leadership in the party reflects the commitment of the opposition party to sustain democracy in Nigeria.
