We’d like to begin by clearing the air. Girls are not mysterious. They are only wired differently from men. However, when a guy doesn’t take the effort to understand her girl better, it can get pretty exasperating. No, we are not asking you to read our minds, but there are certain things that you must know about us and that extends beyond our liking for men who can sing and make us laugh. Here are 6 things we wish you already knew.

1. She wants your attention when she’s mad

This may seem counterintuitive but when she picks up a fight, she expects you to kiss her instead and tell her you love her. When she ignores you, give her all the attention in the world. Sweet, mushy romance or make-up sex, for that matter, can mend disagreements – not long, cold silence.

2. She wants you to introduce her as your girlfriend

Because if you refer to her as your ‘friend’, when in reality you’ve been dating her for a few months now, it hurts. So, introduce her as your girlfriend. If you’re not 100 % sure about the status of your relationship, then maybe it’s time to have that conversation with her – like a real man.

3. She doesn’t care about your money

Well, most don’t. Just like how you are interested in more aspects of her than just her bra-size alone, your bank balance doesn’t matter to her either. It works the same way. Of course, if you’re a miser and refuse to shell out even a single penny on her, then it’s a different story.

4. Keeping secrets is equal to lying/cheating

Remember your high school friend who you bumped into last week? Yes, the same one who added you on Facebook and now talks to you on regular basis. So much so that you decided to ‘catch up with her’ and conveniently forgot to inform us. Yes, that’s cheatingbecause you didn’t want to tell us for a reason. Relationships are based on truth, not on omissions of truths according to your convenience.

5. She LOVES receiving compliments

No, that doesn’t mean they are insecure in their relationships, it simply means they like hearing compliments more often. You have fallen in love with her, so, there are tons of things you like about her. Tell her each of them. Tell her what’s on your mind. A few words of appreciation will go a long way in a relationship.

6. She is not perfect

They try and look their best 360 days of the year. Yet, there are certain odd days when they would just want to take a break, not shave their legs or armpits, let their eyebrows run wild and just be unkempt. And you owe them one, considering the fur that’s covering your limbs. So, don’t make a big deal about it.
