James Guy Bull, a 62-year-old Florida man has been sentenced to five years in prison for raping his 8-month-old pitbull puppy, Coco.
Earlier in the year, in March, some of Bull’s neighbours reported to authorities that they had seen him fondling the puppy’s private parts on several occasions, while another neighbour claimed to have once caught him raping the dog as he was walking past Bull’s apartment.
Subsequently, Police authorities visited his apartment and found sufficient evidence to prove that Bull had been molesting Coco. He was also accused of starving the dog and depriving her of shelter.
When charged, Bull pleaded guilty to two counts of felony cruelty to animals, misdemeanour animal cruelty charges and misdemeanour sexual activities involving animals.
The pitbull has been taken away from him and renamed ‘Rose’ in an animal rescue group, where she now resides.
