The last thing you expect to find at a park is for sure a severed human head.

Police found what appears to be a human head in a park inMontreal Canada and are investigating if it matches the missing head of a Chinese student who was dismembered by a Canadian porn star, an official said.

A police official said appears to be a human head. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss details.

Luka Magnotta is accused of butchering his lover June Lin and sending body parts to political parties and schools. He pleaded not guilty. The head of Lin is the only body part that is still missing.

Police spokeswoman Anie Lemieux of Montreal said investigators went to Angrignon Park on Sunday afternoon after the Major Crimes Unit received a tip. The park is located a few kilometers south of Magnotta’s apartment.

Lemieux said they must await the results of the tests in the coming days to confirm whether there is
any link, and if it is actually a part of the body.

Police have been questioning Magnotta with the hope that they will learn the location of the head. Lin’s family has been looking for closure.

Detectives say Magnotta, 29, posted a video online showing him having sex with the dismembered corpse.

A second version of unedited video viewed by police shows him consuming the body parts. Police say Magnotta and Lin were in a relationship.
