A few more days from freedom! Court orders Baba Suwe's release

An Ikeja High court in Lagos has today, November 1, 2011 maintained that popular Yoruba actor and comedian Babatunde Omidina better known as Baba Suwe cannot be held beyond November 4, 2011 at the expiration of the 15 day duration earlier granted the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to observe the actor by a federal high court granted.

The presiding judge, Justice Yetunde Idowu, ordered that the comedian, who made his first public appearance since his arrest on Wednesday 12 October in court today, be released by the agency if no drug is ejected out of his system within this period.
