This is every mother’s worst nightmare. A teenage mother fell in love with an 18 year old named Logan Andrew West. But she found out the hard way that he is a sick and dangerous rapist.

West who lives in Ohio was arrested for a heinous sex assault against his girlfriend’s 15-month-old baby.

The mother called police to her home in Ravenna Township in Ohio for an injured 15-month-old girl. The baby was taken to Robinson Memorial Hospital, but due to the severity of the injury the baby was transferred to Akron Children’s Hospital. During the examination, the doctors realized that the injury was a result of a sexual assault.

West was immediately arrested and charged with two counts of rape both first-degree felonies, and if convicted, he faces mandatory prison time and he must register as a sex offender in Ohio.

West is currently held on a $500,000 cash bond in Portage County Jail. He was also ordered to have no contact with the victim or the mother.
