Former member of the House of Representatives, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has filed a libel suit in Lagos High Court, against Diamond Bank and Punch Newspapers.
The bank had recently released its list, which named Dabiri as being affiliated with Thriller Endeavours, a company which owes a debt of N122 million.
Consequently, Dabiri is suing Diamond Bank for naming her among its list of delinquent debtors, and Punch Newspapers for including her name in its report of the story.
She revealed via her Twitter handle on Thursday, August 6, that she has filed a suit against the two organisations, demanding a retraction and an apology from them.
