Adele is no stranger to shattering and setting records after records.

The video of the fan favourite Hello off the singer’s 25 album, has reached one billion views in a record time of 84 days since its release.

Hello’ overtakes Gangam Style of South Korean pop star Psy which held the record of reaching a billion views in 158 days.

The video sharing platform made this announcement on Thursday on its blog.

Only PSY’s “Gangnam Style” and Justin Bieber’s “Baby” have reached 1 billion views. “Baby” however, took over four years to get there.

Only 17 videos have thus far, reached 1 billion views.
