Aliko Dangote, business magnate and Africa’s richest man has told a rare story of his worst day in business as well as why he advocates diversification in business.

He also spoke on how estayed away from the Upstream sector of the oil and gas busniess until recently.

Dangote revealed this as a guest on the second episode of the flagship Forbes Africa TV show “My Worst Day With Peace Hyde.”

Aliko Dangote, who is also the CEO of Dangote Industries with functional business in over 18 African countries, explained the need for diversification in business on the show.

Furthermore, asked about his worst day, Dangote launched into the story of the travails and challenges that came with the decision to begin the production of cement locally instead of importing as was the norm.
