Disgruntled Edo guber candidate pitches tent with Sheriff

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Edo state primary has come under contention as an aspirant who lost the election, Matthew Iduoriyekemwen, is challenging the outcome of the primary which produced Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu as its candidate.

According to the Punch, Iduoriyekemwen has also pitched his tent with the embattled National Chairman of the PDP, Ali Modu Sheriff.

He will also be contesting another primary which was rescheduled for June 28 by Sheriff.

Iduoriyekemwen had described the election, which was held in Benin, the Edo state capital, as a comedy which was manipulated to favour a preferred candidate.
