Aiki Nigeria’s ‘Employability Symposium’ to help young Nigerians navigate job market using technology

Aiki Nigeria presents its Employability Symposium, Abuja targeted at young individuals who need the prerequisite skills to place them in jobs and also keep them in the job.

The one-day session tagged, “Successfully navigating the job market using Technology”, is geared to train youths with basic digital and communication skills, and also provide them with online learning opportunities, in order to prepare them for the job market.

The selected facilitators have been involved in innovation and are exemplary role models who stand out in the field of media and technology with a zeal to impart knowledge to willing youths on how to seize the numerous opportunities in the country.

With this symposium, we can help get many young people off the streets and into jobs thereby significantly reducing the unemployment situation.

Speakers include:
Japheth Omojuwa – Social media: A choice or a necessity
David O. Martins – Leverage on the power of web 2.0 as a job seeker
Mfon Ekpo – Fundamental skills: What employers are looking for
Oluwatobi Soyombo – Basic ICT skills needed to be employable.

The Symposium will hold at Silverbird Galleria, Abuja on the 23rd of May, 2015.
