American cable TV network HBO calls for audition in Lagos

HBO, the American cable channel that is home to several critically acclaimed television shows including Game of Thrones, The Wire and The Sopranos, is calling for an open audition for the upcoming 6-part miniseries, Lewis & Clark.

The series, executive produced by Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt and Edward Norton, will feature Casey Affleck as Meriwether Lewis and is based on Stephen E. Ambrose’s book Undaunted Courage, the story of America’s first contact with the land, as well as the Native American tribes of the country west of the Mississippi River.

To audition for the role check out the casting call details below:

  • Male, West African, early-mid thirties
  • Must be over 6 feet tall
  • Must be distinct looking
  • Must be very capable in athleticism and physical stature
  • Must be confident with various outdoors man skills. (Actor will be trained to work with horses. Swimming and climbing are big pluses)
  • Must be able to learn or speak American accent
  • Must be available the entire time span with zero conflicts from as early as May through the end of 2015.

The auditions will hold on Thursday, 9th April 2015 by 9am – 4pm. The venue for the audition is Incubator, City of David Road, Oniru, Victoria-Island extension.
