An American couple residing in Qatar have been sentenced to spend the next 3 years in prison for the death of their adopted daughter.
Matthew and Grace Huang were accused of starving their Ghanaian daughter, Gloria to death and were found guilty by a court in the Gulf Arab state.
The prosecution however insisted that the Huangs had willingly caused their daughter’s death by denying her food and had also locked her in her room at night.
Gloria’s autopsy showed that her hips, ribs and spine were protruding and that she died of dehydration and wasting disease.

Happy: The family says Gloria, shown left, was severely malnourished in early childhood and would periodically refuse food for several days and then binge eat or get food from bizarre sources, such as garbage cans or from strangers – a behavior her parents traced to her impoverished upbringing and were trying to address.
the couples are surpose to be jail more than 3years. at least 5years could have been better.
