Two New Zealand insurance company employees are likely to have their jobs at the risk of termination following their failed attempt at office sex that went viral. Little did they know that the office’s giant well-lit windows faced out toward a bar of drunk patrons.
“The whole pub knew about it and was watching, while they were totally oblivious to it,” one of the customer revealed. Reportedly, even the in-house band stopped playing as everyone watched the two get it on. The voyeurs snapped pictures and posted them online (unfortunately for the two lovers, those office windows count as public space).
Their employer, Marsh Ltd., said they don’t condone the actions of the couple and are investigating the matter. No word yet on whether or not they’ll lose their jobs, or get away with a warning.
The couple apparently never realized just how public their private time was. If they wanted to avoid having their sex life all over the news, one simple thing could have given them a lot more privacy. As one patron put it, “they should have turned the lights out.”
