A 15-year-old New Mexico boy has been arrested last night and charged with gunning down two adults and three children with an assault rifle.rr
The five victims – a man, woman, two girls and a boy – were found dead at a home located in South Valley, New Mexico.
KOB.com reported that several weapons were found at the scene, including an assault rifle.
The juvenile suspect was charged this morning with two counts of murder, and three counts of child abuse resulting in death, according to the station.
Bernalillo County sheriff’s spokesman Aaron Williamson says the boy’s motive and connection to the five victims aren’t immediately unknown.
Williamson says investigators who received a report of the shooting Saturday night are trying to determine whether the victims were related.
The victims’ identities haven’t been released.
