The All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to confirm a former Minister of Sports, Bolaji Abdullahi as its substantive National Publicity Secretary, Vanguard reports.
Abdullahi served as minister under the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan and is an ally of Senate President Bukola Saraki and former vice president, Atiku Abubakar.
“I can tell you that everything is set. The appointment could be announced either Tuesday or Wednesday”, said a high-ranking party source.
Abdullahi was reportedly sighted at the party secretariat on Monday.
The position is currently zoned to the North-Central part of the country.
