Ahead of the 2015 Presidential elections, Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has called on President Goodluck Jonathan to start writing down his handover notes, as the All Progressives Congress is putting finishing touches to take over Aso Rock in 2015.
While speaking in Owerri, the governor said; “Come 2015, APC will be in Aso Rock, but we must be aggressive to drag PDP and its members out of the presidency and indeed, Nigeria.
“I have the capacity to govern the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I must also make it abundantly clear that the PDP and indeed, President Goodluck Jonathan, cannot defeat me in the forthcoming general election”.
The governor said that although he had no intentions of running for presidency, if given the chance he would fight insurgency to a halt through the decentralization of power to the grassroots.
Rochas who celebrated his 52nd birthday, played host to APC local government chairmen from the 36 states of the federation.
