Attending The Experience tonight? Here are 5 ways to get ready

It’s tonight! The largest gathering of Christians across all denominations in Nigeria, the biggest music concert in the country, what has become an collective offering of sound praise to the creator, it’s The Experience.

We’re excited about what is set to happen tonight and we understand that there a lot of first-timers who may not know what to look forward to at The Experience.

Let’s help you get ready:

1. Lay aside your grudges and guilt: Forget the paparazzi, The Experience is a spiritual gathering and a moment of worship and encounter. You do not want to just mark attendance without receiving your own special, divine encounter. The Experience is not a place to go and just observe or take notes of organisational faults. You need to be ready for the Spirit to work through you, so put every burden, grievances and guilt aside and go get your miracle!

2. Be appropriately dressed: We already established that it’s not OLIC or Rhythm Unplugged,  so be careful to be suitably dressed for the event. Not that we expect you to be all covered up as such but ladies, you know what we mean. Moreover as it’s an outdoor event, flying and crawling insects will make advances at you. Ankle-length clothing may be just right.

3. Arrive early: Everyone will be at The Experience and Lagos traffic as we know it, will be hellish. Save yourself the stress by setting out early enough so you won’t get caught in unavoidable gridlock. This is the best thing to do if you care to get good seats too.

4. Leave your valuable gadgets at home: Gatherings like this are not restricted to a type of people. It’s free for all and trust that Lagos hoodlums will be somewhere planning on executing their own evil mission tonight. So be extra vigilant. If you need your phone so bad, then hold on to it. Otherwise, leave it at home and be watchful of your environment.

5. Connect: With every performer, worship leader and pastor, just connect. Once you step into the venue, release yourself to every potential channel of blessing. You might be totally looking forward to a Don Moen worship experience but you’ll be surprised to find out that, Frank Edwards or say Tope Alabi is whom God has prepared to use especially for you. So, just connect!
