Aziza Uko: Com’on, let’s be real for once (Y! Superblogger)

When you know who you are and the power that you have, when you realise how God sees you – you’ll realise that all the things happening around you that are threatening to consume you and your happiness are nothing.

When you get into an elevated level of knowledge, you will appear unreal to those operating at a lower level of knowledge.

This is why leaders in Christianity are sometimes hallowed to the extend of appearing to be worshiped. It’s nothing new, Apostle Paul was worshiped as a god by the people who lacked understanding of the dominion mandate that Jesus Christ handed to everyone who believes in Him. Because of the knowledge our church leaders have, they operate at a level that appears unreal. It’s nothing mysterious, that’s the level all Christians should operate – in a world of no limits!

When you operate at an elevated level of knowledge, your happiness is not determined by what other people around you do – even your spouse – but how you respond to what they do.

My post on forgiveness represents elevated knowledge of the subject matter. When a person walks in elevated knowledge, she is set free in that area of life. And the natural response to a reflection on her past actions are to laugh at herself and the kind of things she used to fuss over.

When you realise your power and what God has put in you and how to unleash it – you will realise that you are in absolute control of yourself, your environment, and what happens to you.

When you also realise that you cannot change another person or control what they do, you will come into your rest and then you will have the peace that surpasses all understanding. You will be like Jesus who was sleeping in a boat while the storms were threatening to sink it. You will be like Apostle Paul who was bitten by a deadly snake and just shook of the beast into the fire and keep on going.

When you know who you are and the power that you have, when you realise how God sees you – you’ll realise that all the things happening around you that are threatening to consume you and your happiness are nothing.

When you realise that you are the one creating those thing and giving them power by your thoughts, your confessions, and your actions – that all you need to do to get rid of ugliness in your life is to change your thinking, your words and your actions – you’ll begin to live a different kind of life.

Then when you tell people that certain things they think are so serious are not important to you and don’t affect you or determine the decisions you make for your life. They’ll tell you, “Com’on, let’s be real for once.”

Pursue knowledge. Get wisdom.
