New York City police are currently investigating an apparent early morning fight involving hip-hop stars Drake and Chris Brown at the WIP club.

It is rumoured that before the fight, Chris sent Drake’s table a bottle of champagne. Drake then sent the bottle back with a rude note attached that read:

“I’m f**king the love of your life. Get over it.”

Chris not one to walk away from a battle went over to Drake’s table to confront him, and before anyone could stop it, fists and bottles started flying.

According to police reports, five people were injured in the fight where people from both entourages were seen throwing bottles, including Chris who later tweeted a photo of his injury, along with the message; How u party wit rich n**** that hate? Lol… Throwing bottles like girls? #shameonya

He later removed the picture, as well as other messages about the fight, including taunts.

Both Chris and Drake dated Rihanna, but it is not known if that was what really prompted the fight, for which there have been no arrests.

Chris remains on supervised probation for beating Rihanna in 2009. She performed on Drake’s hit, Take Care.
