#BBATheChase: 5 reasons you should have watched this season’s finale

BBA finalists

90 feverish days have gone by, plus about 200 more of twiddling our thumbs, waiting to be able to hook up to Channel 198 on DsTV. All eyes glued to the biggest reality TV show on television. We present 5 reasons you should’ve tuned in to the live finale tonight.

It’s the finale!

This should be obvious enough but in case you didn’t quite get the memo, permit us to publish once more. It was the season finale of the biggest show on the continent and that means nothing else comes close to being as important. Capisce!

The winner will be unveiled

In case you didn’t know. Of the final 5 housemates; Ghana’s Elikem, the Nigerian duo of Beverly and Melvin, Dilish from Namibia and Zambian rapper Cleo, one winner emerged and that was the delicious Dillish. And isn’t that the whole point of the last 90 days?

We heart host, IK Osakioduwa

We cannot get enough of IK Osakioduwa and we admit it. Not when he does such a superb job season after season of hosting Big Brother Africa. We swear it has nothing to do with how dapper he looks in a suit or anything else he puts on for that matter. At this point, we nominate IK to host everything from now on including those dreary PDP conventions.

Ice Prince Zamani performed

For some reasons we cannot decipher at the moment, Ice Prince has become the biggest star on planet Africa. Okay, maybe not the biggest but as we know, only the really really really big deals close the Big Brother season. And if Ice Prince isn’t quite your thing there is the duo of R2BEES to admire.

Housemates will be reunited

The past 90 days have been bitter sweet as we have seen some of our favourite housemates leave the chase, prematurely at times. Tonight, they reunited in all of their fabulousity and we got to see love birds, Betty and Bolt, LK4 and Koketso, ONeal and Feza. Also Beverly got to reunited with her man Angelo, ditto Elikem and Pokello and Hakeem and Cleo. Let the sparks start flying.

BBA is going to trend anyway

For the grinches who will attempt to steal Christmas (Yes! today might as well be) with their tales of superior indifference, social media was awash with BBA talk. Timelines were flooded and status updates had nothing but love for Dillish, the eventual winner. Nobody wants to be caught waiting for second hand information… certainly not you.

Congrats to Namibia’s Dillish Matthews!
