How Benue state commissioner slumped and died

The Commissioner for Rural Development and Cooperatives, in Benue State, Aondowase Chia has slumped and died.

The 46-year-old Chia reportedly gave up the ghost after presenting the annual budget of his ministry to the state Executive Council on Tuesday, March 3.

The commissioner had just returned to his office where he slumped.

Chia was immediately rushed to the Benue State Teaching Hospital Makurdi, by his aides.

He however, passed on in the early hours of Wednesday, March 4.
