Beyonce and Taylor Swift dominate VMA nominations

MTV has announced the nominees for the 2015 “MTV Video Music Awards”. Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé lead the pack with the most Moonman nods for music’s most unexpected night.

The “MTV Video Music Awards” which was announced on the Beats 1 “Chart” show on Apple Music, will air live across Africa on MTV (DStv channel 130) from the Microsoft Theater (formerly Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE) in Los Angeles, on Monday August 31, 2015 at 02:00 AM (official pre-show starts at 1:00AM).

Beginning today, fans can vote for their favourites in multiple VMA categories including “Video of The Year”, “Best Male Video”, “Best Female Video” and more by visiting vma.mtv.com. Nominees for the socially voted category, “Best Song of Summer”, will be announced at a later date.

The “MTV Video Music Awards” will be hosted by Miley Cyrus.
