Bijelly Couture and Vans Kere to represent Nigeria at ‘Glitz Africa fashion week

Glitz Africa Fashion Week is back for a third season to bring the glitz and glamour of African fashion to Accra. From the 6th to 9th of November.

The fashion week will present an eclectic mix of designers from the African continent such as Bijelly Couture by Oby Madawuba  & Vans Kere by Evans Akere from Nigeria.

Other designers from around the continent will include Taibo Bacar from Mozambique, Duaba Serwaa and Thula Sindi from South Africa, just to mention a few. The number of designers from diverse African countries is just another proof of the attention Glitz Africa Fashion Week is receiving both on the international and national level.

Vans Kere will be debuting their all new Signore Fusion, Season lI while Bijelly will be debuting their Lady Luxe Kollection.

Ghanaian fashionistas will be treated to a world class production, the hottest up-and-coming designers, top end fashion exhibition with media and buyers who will feature a fashion park highlighting various industry components.

A Fashion Seminar, in partnership with World Fashion Colloquia will also take place. Glitz Africa Foundation; a foundation created for the Development and Empowerment of Youth and Women, will be launched and finally, the exquisite Vlisco Shows will be happening once again.

This year’s theme is Celebrating African Creativity in Fashion, so we are ready to see fabulously creative pieces from across Africa on the runway.
