Bishop T.D Jakes, the charismatic pastor of the Potter’s House based in Dallas, Texas, is set to launch two secular TV shows.

The pastor, through the TDJ Enterprises plans to bring two new shows on television beginning in the next few years.

The project which is in collaboration 44 Blue Productions and Enlight Entertainment, will be based on his latest book “Instinct: The Power to Unleash Your Inborn Drive” and the other, a daily talk show, will feature his particular brand of evangelism.

Both shows will be developed and packaged to domestic TV syndicators later this year.

The TDJ Enterprises is a profit-making arm of  the T.D Jakes brand since his church is a non-profit organization.

The latest movie he produced titled “Heaven Is for Real” is about a young boy’s miraculous journey to heaven during an operating procedure. It grossed over $100 million worldwide from a tiny budget of only $12 million. Now Jakes is now ready to move into secular TV.

The pastor has also aired his services and sermons on the Trinity Broadcasting Network and Black Entertainment Television (BET) amongst others.

According to Vice-president and co-owner of 44 Blue Productions, Stephanie Drachkovitch, “We think that viewers are hungry for the opportunity to learn from his insights.” She continued, “Jakes’ unique voice and universal message will motivate and entertain.”
