Blame Okorocha for kidnappings in Imo – Ohakim

by Isi Esene

Former Imo State governor, Ikedi Ohakim has blamed governor Rochas Okorocha for the increasing case of kidnapping in the state.

He said the problem can be attributed to the rising youth unemployment in the state.

Ohakim said this yesterday at a Peoples Democratic Party  (PDP) rally in Isiala, Mbano Local Government Area of the state.

According to him, Rochas Okorocha’s administration has disabled the state by the dismissal of 10,000 graduates employed by his administration.

“When 10,000 youths are unemployed, the next thing is to turn to crime,” he said.

To underscore the transparent conduct of his administration, Ohakim reportedly said he is not against being probed by the present administration.
