Irked by the dwindling financial fortunes of Bayelsa State and the empty treasury he met after his swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday last week, the state governor, Honourable Seriake bannedson, may have perfected plans to probe the immediate past administration of former governor, Chief Timipre Sylva, the Nigerian Tribune investigation has revealed.

It was authoritatively gathered that the poor condition of the state had hampered the smooth take-off of governance by the new administration, a development that was creating concern for the governor.
