Although Bola Tinubu was not physically present, he sent a representative to the book presentation of the immediate past Governor of Lagos state, Babatunde Fashola.
Tinubu was represented by Prof. Tunde Samuel.
Besides Tinubu, several leaders of the All Progressives Congress were also absent at the presentation of three books written in honour of Fashola, on Tuesday.
Most of the members of Fashola’s cabinet, including two former deputy governors and members of the State Executive Committee of the APC were also absent at the presentation.
The failure of APC leaders to attend the book presentation has added fire to the speculation that Fashola and Tinubu are at loggerheads.
The books which were presented are; ‘In Bold Print’, ‘The Lagos Blowdown’ and ‘The Great Leap’.
