A large explosion has been heard around Nyanya/Jikwoyi area of Abuja, with witnesses describing it as a bomb explosion.

This is a few kilometres away from where the last bomb blast occurred about two weeks ago leaving several people dead.

Sources close to the location of the blast spoke to YNaija.com saying the sound of the explosion is consistent with the one which killed over 70 people at a bus park in Nyanya on April 14.
