Premium Times is reporting an explosion in a Jos church.

According to the site:

Reports reaching us say a fresh round of explosion has rocked the Evangelical Church of West Africa (ECWA) in the Rukuba area of Jos.

The explosion, we are told, was followed by sporadic gunshots.

We are unable to confirm casualty figure at this point as details of the explosion are still sketchy.

The state police spokesperson could not be reached yet.
