BREAKING: Buhari picks APC presidential ticket with 3,430 votes

Former Head of State, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.), is has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary with 3,430 votes.

Buhari, who is running a campaign hinged on curbing corruption, beat ex-Vice President, Atiku Abubakar; Kano Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso; Imo governor, Rochas Okorocha and Leadership Newspapers Publisher, Sam Nda-Isaiah to win the ticket to represent the major opposition party at the general elections which is scheduled February 2015.

APC primary

Buhari is believed to have the backing of several APC governors who support him for his electoral value.

He is now expected to run a rigorous nationwide campaign to bring home the message of change preached by his party.
