Ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to the National Assembly on Wednesday, security operatives have shut all three entrances into the complex, The Punch reports.
Buhari is expected at the Assembly by 12pm, but he is still in Gambia as part of the ECOWAS team that went to persuade Yayha Jammeh to step down following his electoral defeat.
Staff of the complex were also denied entry, as long queues are seen on the road leading to the Assembly.
