Bridgewater becomes an IATA approved training centre

Bridgewater Academy, a premier skills acquisition centre today announced its official approval by IATA as an ATC (Approved Training Centre). The academy which specializes in offering aviation and travel training solutions to individuals desiring a career in the airline industry, offers courses in Airfares & Ticketing, Cabin Crew Ab-Initio Training, Aviation Operations Training, Effective Sales & Communications, Customer Excellence.

IATA, the International Air Travel Association is the main international trade body of the air travel sector. The organization also represents, leads and serves the airline industry in general. As an IATA Authorized Training Centers (ATCs) Bridgewater has become  an independent training facility authorized to teach the following IATA Training Programs: Airfares & Ticketing, Cabin Crew Ab-Initio Training, Aviation Operations Training, Effective Sales & Communications, Customer Excellence.

The Authorization of an ATC status to Bridgewater Academy was based on instructional     expertise as well as Bridgewater’s overall ability to provide quality training. ATCs recruit and train students, while examinations are organized and supervised by the IATA coordinator located in your country or region.

Speaking on the approval, Mr. Jide Onalaja, CEO of Bridgewater  said; “We are delighted that after merely three months into our operations, Bridgewater Academy has hit another mile stone”. He said this after confirming that Bridgewater Academy had only recently become an Amadeus (the leading Global Distribution Systems provider)  certified training centre.

By this approval,  Bridgewater Academy joins the few and illustrious and exclusive training institutions to be granted IATA ATC status in Africa.

Since this approval, Bridgewater Academy has received expressions of interests in the two major IATA courses; IATA International Travel & Tourism Training Program: Foundation in Travel & Tourism  and IATA International Aviation Training Programfor Airline Cabin Crew/Airport Operations.

“Bridgewater Academy has a strong focus on customer service training that cuts across most industries,” Mr Jide Onalaja said. “Apart from aviation and travel specific training, we also have a strong niche in tailoring bespoke training workshops for businesses that have customers facing people.”

Mr Jide Onalaja confirmed that Bridgewater Academy very recently commenced weekend classes to accommodate the growing number of interested delegates who currently work but want to either improve their skill set or are considering a career in aviation.
