Some protesters gathered today at the Catholic Church at Asokoro, Abuja for the #BringBackOurGirls march to the Borno governor’s lodge in the state.
The protest was led by former minister of education, Oby Ezekwesili, former House of Representatives member, Dino Melaye with Member Feese, a survivor of the deadly 2012 United Nations bomb blast in Abuja.
The march has been recorded as the longest ever made in Nigeria with the protesters meeting the Borno governor, Kashim Shettima.
He confirmed that the girls were indeed abducted and all is being done to get them back home safely.
