Following the release of his ministerial list, President Muhammadu Buhari, has reportedly pleaded with Senators of the Peoples Democratic Party, to go easy on his nominees.
The ministerial screening, which is expected to begin on October 13, will be far from easy to scale through, by the nominees of the President.
In anticipation of this likely scenario, Buhari is said to have instructed his Senior Special Assistant to the National Assembly Matters,Senator Ita Enang, to make sure the PDP lawmakers are on board with his selection.
Similarly, APC spokesman, who is also a ministerial nominee, Lai Mohammed has reportedly reached out to governor of Sokoto state, Aminu Tambuwal to speak with the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, for an easy outing at the ministerial screening.
