Former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Bamanga Tukur, has passed a vote of confidence on President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to Tukur, the President is on the right track and has performed well in his first 100 days in office.
He said this on Thursday, while speaking to journalists during an event to mark his 80th birthday.
Tukur said President Buhari has done well in his fight against corruption and insecurity, adding that he has “delivered on his promises of confronting corruption, power, unemployment and insecurity.”
“To me, they are going the right way, they are not deviating from what they said they will do,” he added.
Speaking further, he added that the Peoples Democratic Party would not have been defeated during the last general elections, if he had remained chairman.
