Buhari holds clandestine meeting with Saraki, Dogara, APC leaders

President Muhammadu Buhari is reported to have held a clandestine meeting with some leaders of the All Progressives Congress, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting which commenced late at night on Wednesday, spilled over into the wee hours of Thursday morning.

Those in attendance at the meeting include: Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara and the National Chairman of APC, John Odegie-Oyegun.

Others are: Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, Zamfara State Governor, Abdulaziz Yari, Senate Leader, Ali Ndume, Minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh, Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu, former Minister of Information, Tony Momoh.

Although the purpose of the meeting remains unknown, Vanguard reports that it may be connected to prevalent national issues such as – the 2016 budget, the menace of Fulani herdsmen and several others.
