While on a visit to survivors of Abuja bomb explosions at the National Trauma Centre, on Sunday, President Muhammadu Buhari, paid the medical bills of an armed robbery victim.
The mother of the victim- a young girl- upon seeing the President, broke down in tears over her inability to pay the hospital bills.
Deborah Stephen revealed to Buhari that her daughter was shot by armed robbers who raided their home.
She told him that the family could not afford the medical bills of the young girl in the Paediatric Ward of the hospital.
The President then instructed his Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari to settle the N268,790.00 medical bill.
