Buhari visits his ‘voltron’ in London (PHOTOS)

The first photo of President Muhammadu Buhari since June 6 when he left Nigeria for London on vacation and to seek medical attention for an ear infection has been released by the Presidency today.

Through its Twitter handle, @NGRPresident, the Presidency revealed that Buhari received the 105th Archbishop of Canterbury and the most senior bishop in the Church of England, Justin Portal Welby, as well as the Secretary General of Anglican Communion Worldwide, Most Revd Josiah Idowu Fearon.

It would be recalled that in the famous video of British Prime Minister, David Cameron calling Nigeria ‘fantastically corrupt’ Welby, who was in the company of Queen Elizabeth and Cameron had defended President Buhari.

David Cameron had said, “We have the leaders of some fantastically corrupt countries coming in. The Nigerians, and Afghanistan are probably the most corrupt countries in the world.”

Welby had jumped to President Buhari’s rescue immediately chiding Cameron for his remarks and pointing out that the President had been fighting corruption.

Buhari, on vacation in London sure had time to meet his voltron.
