81 senators have passed a vote of confidence on the leadership of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki as well as the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.
The motion which was moved by Senator Samuel Anyanwu, was adopted by all senators present at the National Assembly on Tuesday, July 28.
Through the motion, the senate has now reaffirmed its endorsement of Bukola Saraki as senate president and Ike Ekweremadu as deputy senate president as well as the principal officers.
The development was made public by Bankole Omishore, the Special Adviser to the Senate President on media.
