Due the absence of Senate President, Bukola Saraki, at his ongoing trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, the Federal Government has asked the tribunal to issue a bench warrant for his arrest.
The Ministry of Justice requested that the panel would give an order for his arrest, saying “he cannot sit in the comfort of his chamber and object to his trial in absentia”.
