Bukola Saraki wins his stronghold… and he’s got proof (LOOK)

The Senator representing Kwara Central District, Bukola Saraki, has been reelected to yet again serve his constituency at the upper chamber of the House of Assembly for the next four years.

Saraki, candidate of the All Progressives Congress polled 187,585 votes to defeat the Peoples Democratic Congress candidate who had 66,864 votes.

Saraki, a former governor of Kwara state, shared news of his win on Twitter, with accompanying photos of the result sheet of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The senator said: “Thank you good people of kwara Central for returning me as your Senator. I thank 118,879 people in Kwara central who voted for me & call on 66,864 who voted for someone else to pls join hands with us for progress.”
